I feel like this experience so far has felt like a combination of an adventure, self-reflection, and a joke haha.. I only added a joke because the actual job entails a minimum amount of work. The only plus side is that the free time I have allows me to study turkish, browse on my computer, and to actually read for leisure. A major plus about this internship though is that my public speaking is improving. I really feel like my experience in India with the peacegames curriculum prepped me for this. I was such a mess at the beginning of my India dialogue because of all the little fears and emotional wounds that I let be exposed.

One thing I really learned while being out here is about emotional wounds. I truly feel that we all human beings have our own weaknesses; some of us show it more than others. But, I truly feel that we all have our own paths and things that we need to work on. Our dreams. We are the creators and directors of our dreams, and we all need to learn to take full advantage of making our lives the best that we can. Everyone else in our lives are just supporting actors with that said. We can choose how we want to live our lives and how we want to go about it. The results that you get based off of your education, job, friends, relationships, etc. show how you are living your life, and how your choices, assumptions, gossip, and your word affect you. But these very same entities can also make choices, assumptions, gossip, and their words that show their dreams and visions. Speaking of the choices, assumptions, words, and gossip you can see the things that people need to work on or the wounds that affects their lives. We all have emotional wounds and when we suffer from them we cannot blame others because they are only exposing your own wounds that you already have. They don't create them, you create them. With that said, I know I have my things to work on with all four of the examples I made. We all do to an extent, because we grew up in this world with a certain environment that had an impact on these qualities.

So what am I really trying to say? Well I am just reflecting on my past choices, and through that I picked out the ones that seem the most common that almost every person needs to work on. I think some people have some aspects of one more than the other. Maybe some people make too many assumptions to the point where they read too deeply into something. Or maybe some people need to use their word more wisely, because others may resent what they have to say. Or maybe some people should be careful of how they gossip (or try to avoid it completely), because it will only show your insecurities and cause others to judge you based off of that. And the choices you make will only continue that hell that you put yourself into, or the heaven that you are living.

Through my own lessons and experiences I am happy to say that I am growing and learning, and that I can say that I am working to heal my wounds, and to live the life of heaven.

=)

New music

So, I recently came across this group. My Co-op job is decent, and I think the others in my group would agree. We all teach about 3 classes a week, and have plenty of time to do what we need to do on our computers (since we don't have internet at home). We also have to do recordings every week, which includes lots of laughter. The students seem to be used to having Americans around, they are friendly for the most part, and seem eager to talk to us. I think I am also the first person of color to come on this trip. A lot of the student love to say how I look like Will Smith, and they assume I love basketball and r&b music. I don't get upset or anything because they all mean well... in fact i think it is funny actually. Turkey is mostly a homogeneous nation, although some look like they come from western Europe.

I have already met some cool people outside of work, and have already gone out to a bunch of places. This excites me that I am only in my second week and have already built a small network. I really cannot wait to go to the phenomenal Istanbul! It's one of the best cities of the world, and I need to make my way there ASAP! Haha..

Well, during my time here so far I feel like I have a lot of time to just reflect on life and to acknowledge where I am at.I know it's only been a few weeks, but I feel like I've been here for a while already. I can say last year that I have truly grown, and have had the chance to really recognize my weaknesses. I feel like this will be the year to really work on a few and to just enjoy life as much as I can. I know it is easier to say it rather than to actually do it, but I know I will always continue to grow and actually live out the majority of my goals.

Alicia Keys - Unthinkable (I'm Ready) w/ Drake

I am really loving this song. I originally felt that this album wasn't that great compared to some of Alicia Key's others. But, this one song is just so good to me. I truly feel as if I feel the music in this song. This is the Alicia Keys that I like. At one point I feared that her sound would change in a bad way when I first listened to "Put it in a Love Song" which features Beyonce. It just seemed more like a Beyonce song in general. Well anyway, I just really like this song, and I hope it will be Alicia's next single off her Album, Element of Freedom. Some other great tracks off her CD is Love is Blind, and Doesn't mean Anything (which a lot of people most likely already heard). I know that her material is written by writers and not herself sometimes, but I feel like the music industry needs more quality music from artists like her.

I am a Alicia Keys fan for the most part, I saw her in concert twice, and I always enjoy her live showings tremendously. Go see her live if you can.

My arrival in Turkey!

So for those of you who don't know, I will be in the country of Turkey for the first half of the year. I'm going to be living in Ankara, the country's capital. It was a big decision for me because I originally thought it would be best for me to have a Co-op in the United States. However, I eventually took advantage of this amazing opportunity!

Not too long ago, I was on a trip in India. That was such an amazing place that I would like to go back to one day.

Now fast-forward to Tuesday Night.

My mother took me to the airport around 5:30. We were already running late for my 7:45 flight, but we both thought I would get to the airport in no time. Wrong! Traffic sucked and was holding us up! When that happened I got very nervous about what would be next, and began to get nervous I would miss my flight. Eventually, we got to the airport just in time, but the problem was now with the check in desk. I had too many pieces of luggage and had to decide what to take and what to leave with my mother. It was all too much for me to handle after hearing that I had only five minutes to check in my luggage. When I finally got on the plane I sat next to an Indian woman from Mumbai aka Bombay. We chatted about India, which reminded me about all the wonderful things that I got to do there. The flights themselves went pretty smoothly.

So, when I finally arrived in Turkey, I had to take a Taxi to TOBB University (which is where I will be working at). That when oh so smoothly. Not! None of the security guards knew English, which made it very difficult to explain who I wanted to see. Eventually, that worked out and a sigh of relief occurred when I saw Warren. I knew I was in the right building from here, and now knew where work was. Nice. I met with our Boss, who was a very friendly guy. Actually, all the Turkish people I've met so far turned out to be very nice and approachable, like in India. If not, then more friendly. After that I met with the girls, who helped me carry my heavy ass luggage to our apartments.

Upon arrival at the apartment, there happened to be no electricity in my apartment where the guys live. Nice, I always wanted to take my energy practices to the next level. So I just dropped my stuff down, and went upstairs to the girl’s apartment. It was nice to hear about everyone's little adventure about their trips here, especially since everyone had a great tale of their own. Hearing these stories alone immediately tells me there will be way more to come!

So finally, I went to take a shower in the girls’ apartment, since I didn't feel ready to shower in the dark. Oh wait, the shower doesn't work in my apartment :D... It really didn't bother me that the shower isn't working, but I feel bad if all of the guys will have to shower in the girls’ apartment for a while...

So after the nice and warm shower, I felt ready to go to bed finally. But here comes the fun part, I was stuck in the bathroom! haha, yes. I couldn't get the door open and I pulled the lock out of the door in an attempt to try to key my way out. After much struggle I broke free of the bathroom and headed straight down to my room. The gentleman who lived in my room before me left dirty laundry and trash in my room. It looks like I have a mission to clean this place up!

So anyway, I am here in Turkey finally, and I am very excited to be here! I am the last Co-op student to arrive; Co-op's Annie, Mackenzie, Julia, Warren, Will, and Zach were already here before me. It still doesn't feel like I will be here until the end of June, but it will all seek in soon. Let the adventures come!
Sorry for any bad grammar..

new things..

I think it is time for a new background.. I like everyone else as well, we all brought different life experiences, thoughts, personalities, and opinions to the table. I can say that I have some great new friends coming out of that experience.

Now I am back in reality.

At first I missed it back home and couldn't wait to get back to the U.S. But after being back, i ate all those words right up.... I am honestly disappointed with a few things in my life. I understand some of us feel that we are right with what we do, or our opinions are usually correct, but sometimes I think there comes a point and time when you need to realize that your spin on things, is in fact, your opinion about a fact or situation. I mean we can all be so real and stuff, but sometimes it is merely your interpretation of things... But why am I saying this shit? Well it is only because for a large portion of my life I have needed or have listened to opinions of others. Sometimes it is a good thing, but sometimes, at least for me, it is not a wise decision. In most areas of my life I am in control and proud of many of my choices, but socially speaking I don't understand why sometimes I give into to bullshit, or whatever you want to call it.

I have too much on my plate to be putting so much energy on things that are irrelevant, but as I grow further, I start to wonder what I want my future to entail. I have had a rough start back to Boston.. being disappointed or unhappy with certain things revolving around friends, love life, financial, education, family, and myself. We all face our own issues, but it's a lot when everything is sitting there waiting for you to return. I mean i hope i can get that loan for school.. have a great friendship with the person i used to like.. that my brother gets better mentally... that none of my current friendships weaken.. that I can have a decent amount of money..

No I am not calling anyone out, but this statement is something that has applied to me many times before... While being away I feel like I became more aware of some of these little things that I let slide until they build up and fester.

I don't know this entry right here is more like an open diary for everyone to see... it is a few things that have crossed my mind lately.. and i am tired too so i guess it comes out the way it did now lol..

However, on a positive note, I know these are things i can work on and overcome of course. I know that great things are coming my way, and a great friend I know has said "the universe has great things in store for you" I know this is very, very, very true! There is a time when things get rough, but after that with a glimmer of hope, the sun will begin to shine again, when the clouds seem like they won't ever leave. I have learned that the energy you put out, will come back to you. So I feel good that I am looking forward to what will come my way next!

I also think it is time for me to continue the steps necessary to where i want to be in life. Yes, I am young, and I have ALL this time, but what's wrong if you have some of these things now? lol

The Eclipse..

I know the Solar Eclipse had already passed well over a week ago, but I must say that while it doesn't physically effect people, there is said to be a spiritual, and mental effect from any sort of eclipse.

The eclipse of the Sun has traditionally been viewed with dread over the ages, as the great giver of life seems inexplicably to disappear from the sky. Birds prepare for bed; the sky darkens in the middle of the day. It seems as though something dreadful is about to happen. Over the years, experience has shown us that old things come to an end (or are overthrown!) under a solar eclipse and a new beginning can be made. The effect on the world of eclipses has been seen to be generally felt for some six months, until the next eclipse then restructures the cosmic energies.

Astrologically, solar eclipses signify the fall of the mighty (or at least, they're in big trouble!). Depending where in the zodiac the eclipse occurs, stress is always placed on the matters governed by that sign, or sector of the zodiac. A powerful Solar Eclipse can create massive havoc, in accordance with other aspects in the heavens at the time, as can be clearly seen by the trail of earthquakes and other disasters associated with the Solar Eclipse and Grand Cross of August 1999.

At a more personal level, the solar eclipse can have a big effect on our personal lives when it occurs in conjunction with one of our natal planets, especially our natal Sun, Moon, or Ruling Planet. Other important chart factors, such as Moon's Nodes, Ascendant, Mid-heaven, or Part of Fortune can also have a very significant effect when impacted by a solar eclipse. Where the eclipse falls in the chart is significant, as the energies expressed by its house placement will show the areas of life that are affected by the new beginning that is implied.
The eclipse of the Moon has traditionally been viewed as a bad omen, for it can awaken irrational responses. Since the Moon governs domestic matters, the public and the emotional personality, rather than leadership, it tends to have a more personal effect than the solar eclipse, which plays a more outward, even political, role.

As a rule, women and family are generally more affected by the lunar cycle, whereas men and politics are signified by the solar. This is not to say that women are not political animals, nor that men are distinct from the family, but that the private, nurturing side is more affected than the public, social and media driven arena, which even in the 21st Century is still primarily dominated by males, or at least by what might be described as masculine energies.

It is also said that solar eclipses changes events in your life dramatically. Since the eclipse happened, some unpredictable things have happened. Some things I am happy about, some unsure, and a few disappointments... I can only say that I have learned from all the situations that I went through since coming back to the states, but hey that's life..

Here is the website if you want to read further about solar and lunar eclipses.

sexual power..

Lol while Alexyss Tylor may seem to be crazy or extreme, she is definitely laying everything out there. She has a lot more to say about the ways of men and women... As for how this applies to me? I don't know.. lol.. but she did say a few things that helps me validate my opinions that having a good sex life with your partner is a necessity to a good relationship. Don't play! It's the reason why couples sometimes have issues and resort to cheating. I mean it is not always the only reason, but it plays a strong role!

Btw the way she carries herself is just funny in general.. It will not be welcome on the territory of the French republic," the French president said.

But he stressed that France "must not fight the wrong battle", saying that "the Muslim religion must be respected as much as other religions" in the country.

A group of a cross-party lawmakers is already calling for a special inquiry into whether Muslim women who wear the burka are undermining French secularism, the BBC's Emma Jane Kirby in Paris says.

The lawmakers also want to examine whether women who wear the veil are doing so voluntarily or are being forced to cover themselves, our correspondent says.

Mr Sarkozy's speech, made possible by a constitutional amendment he introduced last year, was the first that a French president has made to parliament since the 19th century."

Sigh... I think the issue here is that yes, while in some regions in the middle east women are FORCED to wear the burka, there are many women who wear them by choice. Not only does it mark respect to what their religion entails, it also marks their choice of how they want to dress. Women here in America, and across the world wear it because they want to, and Sarkozy for wanting to disallow women to be wearing it is wrong. I feel like this is one of those case by case things, you can't completely get rid of something that you do not understand from ALL points of view.

This is one of the reasons why I personally do not like when politics interacts with religious things.

New song..

Rihanna has another new track out on the web, this one is Te Amo. I simply think she is talking about herself in the song, and the lack of love that she feels for herself? It's not even written by her, but written by James Fauntleroyhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

A glimpse of one of the issues my trip will consist of

This video highlights what my trip with fellow NEU students will be all about. We are there to learn more about the Arms Trade Treaty, UN diplomacy, Small arms and Weapons, and many issues that effect Human safety, and rights. My reasoning for choosing this major, and going on this dialogue is to learn as much as I can to educate myself, and others. To be apart of this dialogue puts me closer to networking and making connections to make the difference that I want to pursue.

The video itself showcases a very emotional appeal about the destruction and chaos that the weapons being used have done a lot of damage to many countries like Laos, and Kosovo. It's quite sad to know that the U.S. is responible for dropping more bombs on southeast Asia, than all the bombs dropped during World War II. It also doesn't surprise me that our country is responsible for this. The US is responsible for the greatest massacre of all time (Africans, Native Americans, Asians) during it's early years as a country than Germany under Hitler. It's the truth you can't deny.

listen to what she has to say

Very, very sad to watch. I definitely believe in god, but I am just not a follower or Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, or even Hinduism like some of you may have thought. I am a very spiritual person who believes in higher powers, miracles, and that there is an astroplane (heaven type thing) that we enter once we die. You can say that's weird, but we don't truly know what happens when our clocks stop ticking. I think most religions are interconnected, but the cultures that originally impacted these religions has shown the differences. I mean come on, we have different cultures, races, ideologies that can show why many different religions are the way that they are.

Anyway, the closest to me that you will see that I follow a religion is through this well recognized, Amma. She is an Indian priestess that may who follow her call her the hugging saint. This woman goes around the globe to visit many different countries to give a blessing hug. It may sound strange but many people feel great energy from her when this happens. I happen to see her each and every year, and when I do I feel so much lifted away from my body. This little bead that some of you call my nut or a peach seed is actually a prayer bead. It's called a rudraskah bead (not sure if the spelling is right). Amma is actually not a Hindu follower, or any religious follower. She respects all religions, and she believes that they are all full of love, and good. When questioned about this she says her religion is love. I guess that is my religion to. No, she isn't ahead of some cult, she isn't out to make people think she is Jesus or any other guru reincarnated. She is here to spread love and joy, and ease away the pain and misery. She has raised a lot of money for her home state in India to provide shelter, food, and health for her people. She is truly an inspiring woman. If you want more information about her, check out her website at: http://www.amma.org/

Guess Who's back, back again

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Wmc0lkr0omo/Sgw9lE5E1eI/AAAAAAAAAB4/SqbK_N7jQZA/s320/006.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335707365704783330" />

Yes bitches, I am finally back to the blogging world after almost two and a half weeks later. But just to start off and take a look back to the beginning of the year, a lot has dramatically changed for me within the first four months of this year. New Friendships, deteriorating ones, stronger ones, rekindling ones. I have dealt with a lot of family issues too, but who doesn't? I've had some let downs, and some great surprises, but one thing the universe aka god has taught me is that the best thing taken out from anything is to learn from your past and mold it into something that makes you happier, stronger, and more certain of what you want in life. I mean personally I always knew this deep down inside, but a lot of recent events helped me realize how things can truly be. I also want to stimulate my mind more and learn even more about the world. Working on myself seems to be the most beautiful thing to do. I love getting to know this great guy, Jamar(Me). The more I learn about myself the more I love myself. And loving yourself id the most valuable thing one can have. I personally think you need to love yourself first and foremost and not be with someone just because you are lonely or lustful, at least anything serious. what can you provide in whoever you pursue? I'm also at a point where I want to chase after what really matters to me in my life.To fight for what's truly right, to one day provide for those in need throughout the world, to entertain, to be famous! I want and I know that I will one day be known for being a great figure on this planet.

Dawn speaks about new hairstyle, projects, and New group.

The hair is definitely Rihanna Tease, but I personally like it for her. The scary part is that 81 people have already died, and there is already a possibility that the disease might have reached the U.S. This is already tough for Mexico, who is battling a deadly drug war, and a sagging economy does not help Mexico, or any economies in the world. What's even scarier is that there are possibly 10 students from New Zealand who may have contracted the disease, and it was said that a few people who traveled to Mexico from NYC are being treated for the disease.

What I do know about the Swine flu, is that it is a resurfaced disease that was first reported in 1976. It disapeared, but now is suddenly back. Hmm.. it sounds familiar, like what certain ancient societies have said about how the end of this age will play out until the end of 2012. Call me crazy, but I still feel that we should be paying attention to these predictions (but not live in fear).

My research has shown that this disease is a deadly one, and some cases from a long time ago has shown that the disease moves rapidly to harm the body. Just to start off, it was nice seeing one of my best friends Ryan after so long. It was really great to be around him and Juan; two people who know me better than just about anyone. It was also cool partying with all the people that I met along the way. Atlanta isn't a place I'd move to, but it's a place worth going to visit to party, go to an excellent HBCU, and just to be in the capital of the south! lol.. Ryan and Juan are truly some of my best friends, and i Still have to mention that again lol. They're like brothers to me. I also have to shout out to my favorite video hoes Dujuan and Andrew lol!! I know you guys are the vixens you deserve to be lol. It was cool for the 5 of us to be down there together and I love them all in our own special way that no one can take away from us. I wish i could go back or something, I love to Travel!! But seriously, travelling is one of my most favorite things to do, and 2009 looks like a year full of travelling for me!!

Texas Declares State Sovereignty.. Rick Perry today joined state Rep. Brandon Creighton and sponsors of House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) 50 in support of states’ rights under the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

“I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” Gov. Perry said. “That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm the states’ rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union.”

This is the result of all of us going backwards, exactly what we need in a country that is going on a long recession. And who does Texas think they are? Well I'd say they are doing us a favor and can be apart of Mexico instead. lol j/k, but seriously it's weird how they said that. I do find it hilarious that republicans are now complaining about the laws that they implemented under a completely republican administration. oh well, idiots never learn. If California did this under the Bush regime, I'm pretty sure republicans would say that's "treasion" and absolutely not right. I mean having a semester off from classes feels great, but I've been having a feeling of emptiness. While it is nice weeding people out of my life, taking control of everything overall, and having more confidence, I still feel a sense of emptiness, bitterness, and a little bit of sadness in a way. I mean overall I am a happy person, I've met some cool people within this pass year, and learned a lot more about myself as a person.

Some things I still need to work on is to have a sense of organization.. I want to do all these things, but I never make the time to sit down and make the phone calls, emails, and whatever that is necessary to carry out some of my goals. I mean I feel like I've accomplished some things, since I am going to Geneva (United Nations Headquarters), and have been involved with a theater organization.. But I know there is still more to accomplish.

I've gotten a lot closer to some people, while others have been a little distant, but hey that's life. But the other day I was speaking with big bro Sean, and we talked about my choices with friends and relationships/dates...
I've been saying that I've been evolving, but I realized that I can't be at this higher frequency in life if I am getting rid of not so great people, when i bring in their replacements. One thing I had to disagree with is this whole thing of liking the bad ones... I can understand why people say that because of my last relationship, and the person who is trying to talk to me now seems like someone who isn't the best before me. At first, yes I wanted to consider it based off of looks and stuff, but I know deep down I didn't care what was wrong. But, in reality I could tell exactly what would go down with this one. However, a part of me feels like i can change people for the better, so that was probably my drive not to totally care about what some of the people might have said. I was told by Big Bro, and I am not angry or trying to be shady, that misery loves company and a few other things. I know what he was saying and I have to admit while there are points to it,I disagree. I agreed with the loneliness part though, which isn't a great reason to pursue someone. I felt like rather than misery, it really is me thinking that it would be different, when it would not. I mean I just wanted to take the chance, i don't think I'd let myself feel like that, but I looked at it as more of a challenge.. But even though i find him to be wrong, it does look like what he said...

However, I decided not to bother with it, and I decided to just take breath and relax. I've come to the realization that I am my own worst enemy, and I am thankful that I am fighting that, and continuing to evolve to this beautiful person. I love and will always that all my true friends (especially Sean, Ryan, Juan and Sara) The four of you have always been there when times were rough at different points. I also miss Steph and Katherine!! I gotta see you two soon!!

But all in, I will focus on what is really important in my life.. The fact that i have to put myself on the map with the careers that I want in the future, and to strive for something that is great. I am truly a person who want to fight for a cause, make a difference, be happy and part, be drama free, to be a spiritual person, and a creative one. So i am happy that I am getting the point where the pettiness, sadness, and second guessing is going away.

That's all for now, but I there is soo much more. lol!!

Thanks for reading!

-Jrizza

Epic Fail!

I mean... it says "current" in the question and the word "surge"... =/

Japan: Collapse or robot future?

Wow, it baffles me to see that there are reports globally that the planet is overpopulated. The route that Japan is going seems to be the route that countries like France, England, and the U.S. will eventually go on.

Umemployment rate reaches 15.6%

April 6 (Bloomberg) -- Joseph Ramelo gave up searching for work in January to return to school, two months after he was laid off as a San Francisco election clerk. Antonio Poe is struggling to get by doing part-time landscaping in Greensboro, North Carolina, after losing his job as an electrician. While such workers are feeling real pain from the recession that began in December 2007, they’re not represented in the 8.5 percent unemployment rate the Labor Department reported last week. They are part of a broader group that includes those who want a job but have stopped looking for work and those who want full-time positions but have to settle for part-time employment. A measure of underemployment that counts those people has almost doubled over the past two years, to 15.6 percent, providing a more complete gauge of the labor market’s deterioration. Along with an historic drop in the percentage of the population who are working, and record numbers of long-term unemployed, the figures point to a permanent shift in employment patterns, said former U.S. Labor Secretary Robert Reich. “We’re seeing many more people who are losing their connectedness to the labor force,” said Reich, who served in President Bill Clinton’s Cabinet and is now an economist at the University of California at Berkeley. “There is a profound weakening of ties to the labor market among a large portion of our working-age population.” Job Losses U.S. employers cut 663,000 jobs in March, bringing losses since the slump began in December 2007 to about 5.1 million, the worst in the postwar era, according to the Labor Department. Unemployment exceeds 10 percent in seven states. Michigan’s jobless rate is 12 percent, South Carolina’s is 11 percent and California’s is 10.5 percent. Job losses in the current recession are more enduring than in previous ones, according to an April 3 research report by Credit Suisse."

It's becoming very frightening that our country continues to suffer incredibly, or the entire planet at that. There are more and more signs that our economy continues to go down the drain. Some say that the USD will totally collapse and we will be forced to change our currency to something similar to what the EU has. China suggests that we have one global currency (which i do not APPROVE of). It would be a horrible idea, and that would make people who believe that our governments are trying to create a one world government with more control.

Whatever the deal is, I am just concerned and hope that things change for the better in the end. We can only hope that this isn't important.

Tidbit: When America was in it's only depression, the unemployment rate was 20% We are approaching that level of underemployed people in the US.

Hope this all changes

Let's all have a big Massacre

LMAO this was 100% real and way too much! "As a solo artist, I felt the need to explore new directions, new challenges, and new freedoms outside my comfort zone and my friends and family at Columbia have been incredibly understanding about my evolution. I want to thank everyone at Columbia for the love and support they've shown and I will never forget how many good times we've had over the years."

"Kelly Rowland is one of our finest contemporary artists and a musical force to be reckoned with," said Rob Stringer, CEO, Columbia/Epic Label Music Group. "It has been a privilege and a pleasure to work with Kelly and we will continue our working relationship with her under the Destiny's Child moniker. The decision for Kelly to seek other opportunities for her solo career was agreed upon mutually, and any reports to the contrary are false." {Source}

I am actually happy after reading this statement. It seems quite clear that Kelendria is on a role of finally taking her career in her own right and moving forward with herself. I know it is pretty late, so I definitely believe her next album may be do or die for her career, in terms of making herself a bigger name here in the US.. hopefully her success in Europe will be seen here. I believe that she is finally ready to show us the true artist that she really is.

Truth or conspiracy theory? I am honestly surprised they dropped her because of the fact that her album was successful on certain levels i.e. International, hit singles, etc. Maybe they foresaw/thought that Kelendria was going to put the ax on them next. Rumor has it that she may be signig to Epic. Whatever the case is, her future shouldn't look too bleak. She is hosting Bravo's new fashion show. So i think they is a possibility that we have not seen the last of Ms. Kelly on the music scene. If Kelly Rowland is going to be in another record label, then I recommened that she drops kelly rowland and calls herself Kelendria for her next album (if there will be one =/ ). I know it's a ghetto ass name, but look at Beyonce. I wonder what her views are on her girls careers and such. Also, Michelle Williams real name is Tenetria. I think they all sound so hot and all have more personality with Kelendria, Tenetria, and Beyonce.

Hello Kitty Underwear.. for MEN?!?!

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; Her CD is worth a download, but I would not go to the store to buy it. Honestly one of the few songs I've liked on her album was "turning me Off" remixes, including the diss tracks. But the funny part is that it wasn't even written by her... I miss him so much, he is one of the greatest friends I've ever had. I am also going on my trip with another bestie Juan. Its also great to know that good friends Dujuan and Andrew are coming as well. It will be fun. But honestly, while I am happy to be getting away from Boston my heart still hurts a little for losing such a great person in my life. My step father has done a lot for me during my teenage years in life when my father was around. I know he is in a better place and I learned to value all people that come across my life. China has repressed Tibet for quite some time now, and has exiled many Tibetan people away from their native land. He is one of the most peaceful people on the planet, and a speaker for his people. The fact that someone on such a high spritual level has to instill some anger and harsh word shows that this is a truly serious thing affecting his people. I've been feeling wonderful lately, but just the other day life smacked me in the face and told me I'm still unhappy. The weird part is I have had no clue in figuring out what has been bothering me.. Weird.. I mean I think it stems from living in Boston all my life, I feel like Boston has become so gloomy for me.. I Know I have to make the best out of it. I need to pick up some better habits, find some activities, and just continue to get to know the great man that I am becoming. One thing I always learned from my mom is that it's always to best love yourself first and foremost. Another thing I realized is that I put too much effort in thinking about what is happening next, next month, next year, 2011, 2012, the future... instead of realizing that I need to focus on today! One step at a time.

I am also a little down with the events and falling outs I've had with certain people in my life. Both friends and family. The best thing for me to do is to realize that I need to move forward and accept that not everyone is capable of changing themselves. It's one thing that takes too much energy to focus on others when I need to help myself. I just have to move forward and let it go. I am just happy for the most part this has already happened or is happening..

But I do have some things to look forward to, I am going to Geneva Switzerland!! woot!!! I depart on my birthday, June 29th, and return in the end of July! So i am very excited about that. I am also supposed to go to India in November, but I am still contemplating on what I want to do that second half of the year.

I'm really pumped for Geneva! I also have the chance of revisiting France, and possibly go to Italy and Germany if I save my money the right way! Hopefully i do, and I know i will! lol. :) Let me know if you want me to bring you back a souvenier when i go.

A lil adventure

FAIL!

So this week has been an odd one for me. It was great to chill with brothers Juan Garcia and Big bro SeanJohn We got some chicken and Waffles from this Joint The Hen House located near South Bay Mall. It turned out to have good Waffles, but man were those chicken wings average. It was a little too crispy in a bad way. The fried cabage sucked, and the mac and chesse was straight. Their waffles fries were good. Me and Sean Knew the moment we saw an Asian working at a chicken place that there were some red flags, even though he wasn't making the chicken. The portions were great and the wait isn't all that bad. However, the location sucks!! The only way to get there is to take the number 10 bus from copley. What the fuck?
2/5 stars on this one. They lost the 1/2 point for the locations.

Are Humanzees Possible?

I was bored and came across this ridiculous video. Shouldn't some of these workers be aware that their job is about performing medical tasks, not putting personal beliefs in the mix. And as for the whole abortion thing, it is the Womans right to choose. Point blank, to all you people out there against it completely, you know very well people would find other means to get rid of a child. Unless your a woman or possibly the father of the child, you shouldn't really have a say with what goes on in people's lives. Sure there is adoption but there is no guarantee that the child will have a great life. We live in a very tough time period with failing economies, a struggling environment, and a not so certain earth future, so why bring a child into the mess if you don't feel up to the challenges ahead? People can barely survive now. Yes it may be different in America, but overall the planet is in peril. I think religious people need to give it a rest.

Chris Brown and Rihanna back together?

According to People.com, Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together! There are many instances where couples still remain each other even while being in far worse off relationships, but with their careers on the line, I don't see this being a Win for Rihanna's career no longer. Many people may look down on her for not leaving him since she "has" to be this role model and show women everywhere that she won't take no shit. I think it's a complicated one and I am not sure where this will really go.

What do you think about all of this?

Obama's $634 Billion Health Care plan

WASHINGTON — "President Obama will propose further tax increases on the affluent to help pay for his promise to make health care more accessible and affordable, calling for stricter limits on the benefits of itemized deductions taken by the wealthiest households, administration officials said Wednesday.

The tax proposal, coming after recent years in which wealth has become more concentrated at the top of the income scale, introduces a politically volatile edge to the Congressional debate over Mr. Obama’s domestic priorities.

The president will also propose, in the 10-year budget he is to release Thursday, to use revenues from the centerpiece of his environmental policy — a plan under which companies must buy permits to exceed pollution emission caps — to pay for an extension of a two-year tax credit that benefits low-wage and middle-income people."

End of Excerpt

Source:The New York Times

I'm all for there to be more federalism in our country. I am happy the rick will have to pay higher taxws to help support it. Maybe I agree with some socialist ideals somewhat, but I feel that in this day in age partial socialism/communism should be implemented in cases like healthcare. We live in a tough time period whether you want to believe it or not. Whether you believe the end is near (2012) or believe it's all just pointless predicitons and conspiracies, things need to be done to get our country and our world out of tough times. Having a better healthcare system can help save our wallets money, and put that money towards other savings.

Danity Kane update

So after this episode of Making the Band, I feel really bad for Aundrea Fimbres and Dawn Richards for having to have this whole mess on them. Say what you want, but i honestly feel that everyone is at fault, but i feel for them two. It's sort of sad to see that D Woods and Shannon don't want to bother. I understand the whole situation is messy, and that the damage has already been done, but honestly they all need to put their ego's aside and at least talk it out. They need to at least talk it out or something before they go on with the rest of their lives.

Shannon Bex known to many as the nice, married, team player in Danity Kane has quit the band!! According to Z100, Shannon says she’s tired of the drama, cat fights and Diddy, and says she will not play part in the new season of “Making The Band.” This comes off of the heels of Diddy firing of Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods. Shannon put her marriage on the line for this career.

The future looks most promising for D Woods, Aubrey, and Dawn.(Even though Dawn was right to think they none of them can really make it on their own so soon) They all are landing gigs(even though it isn't all music related.) D is in the works of an album apparently, she also has two movie roles. Aubrey is said to be one of the judges on 50 cents show, and she has done playboy(which we all know by now.) Dawn was on King magazine, and there are rumors Diddy gave her a solo deal. She also has a comic book ( I brought one lol). She is releasing a soundtrack to her comic book which is due sometime in spring. It is not under bad boy.

Which leaves questions to what Aundrea is going to do... Who knows maybe they will get back together..

Listen to Dawn and D woods solo songs:

New Spring Jacket

I'm ready for Spring to hit, and this Spring 2009 jacket from Kris Van Assche is the up and coming look for the year with its roll up sleeve effect and smart/casual chic. Shit it's all in your face whether you like it or not! There's been many theories and pictures both real and fake floating around. But I'm sorry this is going to far to make a joke out of it:

I'm sorry while they try to say violence isn't worth it, it's making fun and insulting the many people who have suffered in an abusive relationship. Jrizza's transition is a blog all about what I find to be important, entertaining, quirky, and funny. I'm here to fill you in on my personal takes on life, entertainment, fashion, politics, and religion. We all love to express ourselves, so why not make a blog! There is a lot of stuff out there that everyone needs to be aware of or may want to be aware of. I like to be a light in someone's life, and just be there as a friend. I'm 20 years old and i find myself to be in a transition period. I'm continuing to find myself as a young man and I am enjoying getting to know this great guy Jamar (me). I'm a Northeastern University student, a middler, and I study International Affairs. I have a dream in becoming a human rights activist, a diplomat, and an actor. I have a dream that this world can somehow become a better place, despite predictions, outlooks, and the current picture.

I'm sure you can learn more about me through my blog!

Me and my beautiful Mom
